Infrastructure

monodit runs on Cloudflare's platform, including Workers, D1, and R2.

Edge computing

monodit uses edge infrastructure, which means application logic runs in data centers distributed geographically rather than routing all requests through a single central region. This keeps request handling fast and consistent for users regardless of their location.

For data storage and retention behavior, see the Privacy Policy.

Data storage

User data is stored in Cloudflare-managed infrastructure:

  • D1 — SQLite-based database used for workspace data, widget text buckets, Dit history, and other structured data
  • R2 — Object storage used for uploaded asset files

AI requests

AI requests made through Dit are routed through service-managed infrastructure and may be sent to third-party AI providers. monodit uses zero data retention providers for AI requests where available.

Zero data retention means the provider does not keep request and response content for model training or long-term storage.

For details on how Dit works, see Dit.
