Dit is monodit's AI workspace assistant.
What Dit can do
Dit opens as a side-panel card inside the dashboard. You can work through changes conversationally without leaving the workspace.
It can help with:
- real-time widget draft creation and editing
- real-time theme draft creation and editing
- saved multi-session Dit history with restorable references and drafts
- reference analysis and design suggestions
- widget actions exposed through widget-defined LLM tools
- turning imported or existing assets into editable drafts
The goal is to help you shape the workspace itself, not just talk about it.
How requests are handled
monodit routes AI requests through service-managed infrastructure.
- routing is configured by monodit, not by each account
- requests may be sent to third-party AI providers used by the service
- route selection may vary internally by task or quality mode
AI provider credentials are managed on the service side. There are no per-account API key settings.
monodit uses zero data retention providers for AI requests where available. See Infrastructure for details.
If you use Dit, avoid sending highly sensitive information unless you have decided that the feature and the underlying providers are appropriate for that use case.
